Moments like these need to be captured
The BTMR Foundation Committee team recently had the honor of capturing a memorable group photo with the retired educators they came together to celebrate. This moment symbolized the unity, gratitude, and appreciation that defined the event, reflecting the dedication and hard work of these remarkable individuals. The atmosphere was filled with joy and a deep sense of recognition for the lifelong contributions these educators have made to the field of education and the countless students they have inspired.
One never knows, If and when we will see each other again
One notable absence was Mrs. Zephorene Pinnock-Manboard, who, due to illness, was unable to attend the event in person. However, her presence was still felt as her son graciously represented her, ensuring that her contributions and legacy were acknowledged. His participation was a touching reminder of the lasting impact that educators have, not just on their students but on their own families and communities as well.
Leaving a Lasting Impression
Ms. Barbara Senior was also present, alongside other distinguished honorees, including Ms. Roselyn Blake, Ms. Eletha Brissett, Mrs. Joyce Carr, Mrs. Paulette Brown, and Ms. Ileen Leslie. Each of these remarkable women has dedicated their lives to nurturing and shaping young minds, and their presence at the event was a testament to their unwavering commitment to education. Their expressions of gratitude and happiness throughout the event underscored just how meaningful this recognition was for them.
A particularly moving aspect of the gathering was the posthumous honor bestowed upon Mrs. Phylliss Gregory. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy continues to shine through the many lives she touched during her time as an educator. Her recognition served as a poignant reminder of the enduring impact that teachers have, leaving behind a legacy that transcends generations. The BTMR Foundation ensured that her memory was honored with the same level of love and respect as the other retirees present.
This BTMR activity was not just an occasion to take a photograph but a powerful celebration of dedication, perseverance, and influence. The unity displayed by the committee, the retirees, and their families highlighted the importance of recognizing those who have devoted their lives to the betterment of others. The success of the event reaffirmed the foundation’s mission of honoring educators and preserving their invaluable contributions to society. It was a day filled with admiration, heartfelt moments, and a collective appreciation for the incredible individuals who have shaped so many futures.
